Gua Tempurung
Last weekend, I & my friends drive car all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Gua Tempurung, somewhere in Lembah Tempurung near Gopeng, Perak, Malaysia. It is 25 km to the south of Ipoh, the capital of the state of Perak. It took us 2 hours to reach there.
Gua Tempurung is a dark cave, torchlight is required. There is some underground river that reaches chest level, get prepare to be wet.
We took tour 4: Grand Tour, a complete journey of about 3.8km from the entrance to Golden Flowstone, Top of the World and to the end of the cave (East) and return through the underground river.
We start at underground river.
Duck walk is required.
After that, we are going to slide down from slippery stones.
It is a bit scary.
Then, we crawl through holes right after the slippery stones.
It then go back to the underground river.
Finally, we reach the end of the cave.
After some rest, we head back through the walkway on stilts over the cave river.
Overall, I had made two miss take.
1) Wear the wrong shoes
I am wearing a slipper that didn′t tight to my leg properly. My slipper dropped out three times along the journey & luckily the person behind me manages to help me catch my slipper.
2) No backup battery
The whole journey is quite long, my torchlight is out of battery. I am moving slower with slipper plus no torchlight in a dark cave, I feel so scary that I am going to lost in the cave.
Luckily I still manage to blog here since I had back to Kuala Lumpur by now.
