Ah Pak San (阿伯山)
There are so many name for the hill that I just conquered which is located at Batu 9 Jalan Cheras.
Name Lists:
1) 阿伯山
2) Ah Pak San
3) Bukit Apeh
4) Gunung Apek
5) Bukit Putih
6) Bukit Wangsa Cheras
7) Hutan Simpanan Kekal Cheras
I only can confirm the Chinese name is correct. For the English / Malay name, I really no idea which is the correct one.
Compare to my previous hiking at Bukit Tabur, this Ah Pak San is more stamina consuming & less dangerous.
There are many 45 degree long distance path to go up. It is very tiring.
Other then that, there are many T-junction too. The T-junction made me choose the wrong path to walk, end up turning circle around the hill & used up more stamina.
I saw this BIG tree half way, stop by to take a photo.
I also saw some BIG black ant, almost like ant king, the size as big as my last finger, too bad I didn′t manage to snapshot them.
There are 8 levels in total, as I walk higher, the level goes higher also. There is a waterfall somewhere at level 6.
Finally I reach the waterfall. There is a small rest room next to the waterfall.
This place is full of ah pak, no wonder this hill called Ah Pak San.

Is hard for me to explain how to go there.
Maybe you can take a look at this blog:
Direction: Along Jalan Loke Yew until you pass by Leisure Mall, look for a "Pasukan Pergerakan Am" sign or army base on your left (before the Toll). Turn left and go along until you reach a T-junction, then turn right and go along until you see some shop on you left. Turn left before the shops until you reached a new residential area named "Sunway Cheras". Bukit Wangsa Cheras is somewhere beyond "Sunway Cheras". There is an empty field there, followed a row of shops and followed by residential area. There shall be a lot of cars there during the weekend.

Hey there. I am wondering if trekking on your own is dangerous? I′m planning to go there and don′t really like to go in a group as it slows me down, but if it is safer that way I do mind dragging a few people. So is it safe to go up the hill all alone? What about the safety of our vehicles? I mean what if the carpark near the entrance is full ... will it be safe for me to park my car at a place that is a bit far? Thanks!
