, but I believe I can get it back one day.

I resign, not get fired, my CTO & CEO also got ask me to reconsider to stay.
For me, I feel dun want to work under any company lo, I want to try something else different since I am still young, dun want to regret didn't try new thing in my future.

Ozura's games also not allowed to show my name as a "Credit", same as Funmobile. So far, I only saw GameLoft allowed to show developer name as a "Credit" in their games. (For Mobile Games Company)

Some people categorize game developer as people who develop games for a living, but as for me, a game developer can be someone who doesn't do it for a living, but occassionally shares his/her thoughts on the topic.
I always thought that if you didn't make money out of a certain industry, that doesn't mean you don't belong to that industry. I might be wrong, though, since I don't think professionalism should be judged on how much you are making out of the industry, though it does give a little more credibility and weight.
Also, as for crediting developers of a creative product, I think it's a sign of respect and courtesy by any publisher or development studios. Other than the threat of headhunters, I don't see any reasons why a company wouldn't want to have their developers put their name in the games they so "die-hardly" developed.
If you'd a good company policy that treats your employees, you wouldn't need to resort to such cheap tricks. By the way, for these ill-fated developers, there more than ONE way to get credited for your hardwork...hehehe...if you know what I mean!
Well, no one really did a survey on how many game developers are they in this country, but sheer quantity does not say anything about the industry. What we need badly now is a game that will speak for itself, not fighting amongst developers themselves.
We need to grow out of these internal bashings among ourselves.
We need to make some statements with solid proofs, most likely through a real quality title. Arguements on rights and wrongs can follow later.

Wah, this blog is getting longer & longer, I give comment again .
For me, I try to think like killarkai, working at game company develop a quality game to show the world. I believe the larger team the company have, the larger game the company can make, like Warcraft, need to involve so many ppl to develop.
By thinking of making a quality BIG game, go for game company is a MUST, I feel lah, if not hard to make this BIG game individually.
However, my attitude not allow me to work under a company . I too easy to angry & start complain this & that. Making a BIG game is getting far & far away from me.
I feel I am a bit selfish , no trust to any company, now become an individual developer already. Hai, now only can target small & fun game lo .

Some of these posters are still deluding themselves. Probably inexperienced freshies who's never seen the REAL face of the industry in Malangsial and not like I am gonna bother to educate these people living in denial.
Haha wait till they realize one day they get replaced by cheaper juniors and freshies and when they need to finance their loans for cars and houses, and children's education. You remain an employee, you will always be side tracked like a factory worker. You're a fucking factory commodity to the companies here.
Game development is not inherently different from any other job, it just pays crap compared to the rest and you have no career path. All these excuse about having passion over money is bullshit. With puny paycheck and idiotic management lets see if you still have any passion left.
They should get out more often to see what it's like out there.
Blind optimism isn't gonna get you anywhere.
Some people love experiencing SM in their jobs, getting abused and insulted by their low quality Cinapek bosses, what can I say ? They love wallowing in denial that they'll make it big one day working for 3rd rate Cinapek employers in Malaysia.
It's these people who allow themselves to be abused and take such crap that's why Cinapek employers continue to believe they can continue to be arrogant in their policies and ways.
These people who don't dare to fight for their own rights will also be the same lamers who will vote for MCA/BN again and again and again.
The same wankers will also have no qualms presenting their salary slip and history to their employers when demanded, and ending up having their wages pressed down based on salary history. *LOL* the art of salary negotiation, is something techies should learn, and never be desperate to succumb themselves to these 3rd rate employers.
Some people are so desperate to work for local pariah game development companies, then so be it, let them suffer and the rest of us shall have the last laugh watching them slogging themselves for the rest of their lives like coolies building train tracks for chump change.
Don't like what I said ? Fock roight off mate, I don't need approval from anyone (especially people who love getting it from behind from Cinapek Bosses) to say what I like.

i beg to differ with wat oyster man said. being money-minded isnt being bad at all, but being too aggressive and merely equate money with career will make life devoid of meaning, if things were to play out in such a situation as mentioned, there wouldnt be any1 in pursuit of his own career goal but to settle for a career that just promises returns. It's not u to determine whether the career will lead u thru. it's a life learning experience that u gain from it.

Oops, I forgot.. those who work in CrapZura had to sign 2 years of NON-COMPETE.
Forked up CinaPek company, with these ridiculous contract clauses to prevent people from working in the same mobile/game industry for 2 years after resigning.
Who the *HECK* do they think they are? Amazing that there're dumb dumbs like Chong/AM defending them but yet at the same time has their neck tied with leash like a *ahem* dog. *LOL*
A no-quality (LOW QUALITY) company trying to leash down their employees with puny pay, rubbish mobile game mill factory (even blindly copy Capcom characters), no credits allowed and inserting ridiculous non-compete contract clauses, rest assured I will do my part to spread the news and information to all my contacts and developer friends to not work for companies like CrapZura.

When talk about the 2 years NON-COMPETE, I want to voice out something.
My CEO last word to me is saying that, "I wish u luck on ur sale industry, I hope I dun c u appear in other game industry, or else I will sue u in court, I hope this wont happen lah".
This is something that I feel not good when I hear lah. So, I just want to give warning here, other Ozura staff speak carefully with the CEO, or else ur future might gone

Your CEO is very unprofessional. Like a little boy/girl that cant differentiate what can and can't be said in certain situations. My CEO was very professional and 'nice' when I tendered in my resignation previously (even though they were paying for my temporary accomodation then & they paid it till my last day). In Malaysia, I think as soon as I tendered in my resignation, management will ask me to pay for my own accomodation.

Itulah gua cakap, those who wanna do game development, never let passion completely take over or else your passion will be killed if you blindly join these type of companies. Balance passion and practicality.
If you damn beh song working in ShitZura, you cannot join other companies because they're run by CinaPek people.
You know this industry is already so small yet you permit yourself to be abused by these bozos with these kind of contracts.
You can't even imagine there're dumb dumbs who will defend these type of companies that abuses their employee welfare/rights/future. That's why some people love SM in these companies.

afaik (i've checked with a lawyer) they can only sue you if you work in the mobile industry again in the next 2 years. they cant sue you in you join a pc/console game company.
